The commands in this chapter enable you to retrieve and set a variety of information regarding the driver, logins, cursors, and data types.
Using the configuration commands, you can do the following:
• Retrieve information about an ODBC driver and determine what API functions the driver supports (OC Get function, OC Get Info, OC GET DRIVER CAPABILITIES, OC GET DRIVER DESC),
• Return the SQL string as translated by the ODBC Driver (OC CONVERT TO NATIVE),
• Retrieve and configure connection options (OC Get login option, OC Set login option),
• Retrieve and configure cursor options (OC Get cursor option, OC Set cursor option).
